Rossmann, with over 4,000 stores, 56,200 employees and a turnover of more than €10 billion, is one of Europe's largest drugstore chains. The chain operates in Germany, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Turkey, Albania, Kosovo, Spain and Azerbaijan.

The challenge was universal: how do you keep thousands of busy store floors consistently clean without scarce staff spending their entire working day on floor cleaning? Rossmann was looking for a scalable, technology-driven solution that integrates seamlessly into daily store operations.

Via Philon, Gausium's official service partner in Germany, Rossmann implemented an all-inclusive robot package: hardware, software, installation and support in one. The result is that every Rossmann store now has a Phantas robot that autonomously cleans the floor — in 1.5 hours, without supervision. All new store openings are equipped with a Phantas as standard.
