What are cookies?

Cookie lifespan — two types:

Legal framework
The use of cookies on Belgian websites is governed by:
- ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), amended by Directive 2009/136/EC, requires prior informed consent before storing or accessing non-essential information on a user's device.
- Art. 129 of the Belgian Electronic Communications Act (Wet van 13 juni 2005 betreffende de elektronische communicatie, as amended), the Belgian transposition of the above. Consent must be free, specific, informed, and unambiguous (by a clear affirmative act).
- GDPR (EU) 2016/679, where cookies process personal data (e.g., identifying users via analytics), GDPR lawfulness requirements also apply. Consent under GDPR must meet the same standard: it cannot be bundled with general terms of use, and refusal must be as easy as acceptance.
- Belgian Act of 30 July 2018, national GDPR implementation act.
Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement; they are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. No consent is required to place them.

Third-party services & cross-origin requests
Our website integrates a limited number of third-party services. While most do not directly place cookies, they may involve requests to external servers, which depending on your browser settings, can involve the transfer of data such as your IP address.

Web fonts (served from our own server), The Barlow Condensed and Sora typefaces are delivered directly from our own server. Your browser makes no request to
fonts.googleapis.comorfonts.gstatic.comduring your visit, so no IP address is transferred to Google for fonts.
Some pages contain a YouTube video. It only loads when you click play, via youtube-nocookie.com. Before that click, nothing is sent to YouTube or Google. After the click, YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) decides what it stores in your browser; see Google’s privacy policy. We do not embed social media widgets or advertising pixels.

A. Withdrawing consent
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time, just as easily as you gave it: click Cookie settings (also at the bottom of every page) and choose Necessary only. We then delete the Analytics cookies and reload the page. You can also email privacy@robocorpus.be. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.

D. Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Belgian and EU law do not currently require websites to honour DNT signals, but we note your preference. We load Google Analytics only after explicit consent, ensuring your choice is respected regardless of DNT support.
Changes to this policy
We review and update this cookie policy at least once a year and whenever we make substantial changes to our cookie usage. The current version is always available at robocorpus.be/cookies.html.
If we introduce new cookie categories that require consent, we will present a fresh consent request before those cookies are placed. We will not rely on previously given consent for materially different processing.
